Sparta II expert system

Abstract

Expert systems are intelligent computer programs which use knowledge and inference procedures to solve problems. Their help in some areas is a final one, because for solving some problems a lot of intellectual effort should be made but inference procedure can be considered like a reflection model of the best qualified expert person from that area. In this article the logical composition and the inference mechanism of SPARTA II expert system is presented as well as the recommendation for ship engine system.
