Modern Innovation in Money, Credit and Banking Markets

Abstract

The article discusses the issues of coverage of new modern products and technologies introduced in the monetary, credit, and banking sectors of the economy in different countries and regions of the world. The author gives a description of electronic money and crypto-currency, including their comparative assessment. According to the world practice, we can identify barter-social forms of money, and also spreading trends of mobile and biometric technologies in the sphere of monetary payments and banking. Also, this article highlights the Ukrainian and international practice concerning online technologies in the sphere of deposit and credit services by banks and non-bank credit institutes.
