Abstract: The research paper addresses the issue of clarity and ambiguity in the poetry of Saad Merdaf Algerian, an age-old problematic subject that has sparked extensive debate in literary and aesthetic criticism. The study explores the influence of Abu Tammam, a pioneer of the modernization of Arabic poetry, and how this influence led Saad Merdaf to balance between clarity and ambiguity in his work. The aim of the study is to analyze how Saad Merdaf handles this issue in his collection "Mawaakeb Al-Bouh" and to explore the gaps and points that support the proposed hypothesis.
