The Dialectic of Clarity and Ambiguity in the Collection Mawaakeb Al-Bouh by the Poet Saad Merdaf Al-Jazairi: an Analytical Approach

Abstract: The research paper addresses the issue of clarity and ambiguity in the poetry of Saad Merdaf Algerian, an age-old problematic subject that has sparked extensive debate in literary and aesthetic criticism. The study explores the influence of Abu Tammam, a pioneer of the modernization of Arabic poetry, and how this influence led Saad Merdaf to balance between clarity and ambiguity in his work. The aim of the study is to analyze how Saad Merdaf handles this issue in his collection "Mawaakeb Al-Bouh" and to explore the gaps and points that support the proposed hypothesis. The analysis reveals that the debate on clarity and ambiguity is central to literary studies, and that Saad Merdaf's choice of clarity in his works is influenced by the traditions of earlier poets and critics. Additionally, the clarity in his poems reflects genuine feeling and the delicacy of his poetic experience, enhancing its impact on the reader. The poet's mature experience is linked to his roots in the fundamentals of Arabic poetry, revealing deep-seated inclinations within him. Finally, the power of the poet's discourse reflects his proximity and constant presence in human occasions, contributing to its strong impact on the recipient.
