Auxiliary adding and transporting technology of directional drill pipes

Abstract

For the problems of high labor intensity and poor safety of manual way to add and transport the directional drill pipes in underground coal mine, based on the large diameter directional drilling rig structure layout and drilling technology characteristics, a combination plan for auxiliary lifting and handling the directional drill pipes is proposed, and the working principle and design elements of the program are described in detail. The laboratory test and industrial test results show that: the solution can realize the fast attachment and mechanized handling of the directional drill pipes with a length of 3 m, which provide strong support for the popularization and application of large-diameter directional drilling rigs in coal mine.
