Important ornithological observations in Romania

Abstract

Rare birds occurence in Romania during the last period of Aves Foundation birdguide work. This organization members, guides and its ornithological guests have observed a several interesenting birdspecies for Romania which in great part where not published yet. Correlate of Romanian rare or first occurences of this species ourobservations becomes a very important faunistic value. In two exceptions all observation were made in the southeasternpart of Romania, in the Danube Delta and Dobrogea area (see Fig. 1).
