Construção de projectos educativos nas escolas: traços de um percurso debilmente articulado
Abstract
The School´s Educational Project is a concept that, since the late 80´s, has accompanied closely the Portuguese legislation, especially the one that has been devoted to the issues of public school autonomy, administration and management. In this article, we try to establish a retrospective of the politicalnormative framework that has been the basis for the school`s educational project, taking into account a course which, even from the point of view of the political-legal discourse, we can classify as loosely coupled. That is to say that the same political-administrative power whose issues decrees for the central role of the educational project in the schools´ management has also created the legal conditions for the inexistence of that central role either legislating for its lack of operability, or keeping operative laws which are inconsequent and contradictory. There lie weighty reasons for these processes/documents to be, today, mere artefacts inside the school organizations.
