This article refers to the project “Family Album” consists of three workshops of arts activities in a care and educational space-profit organization located in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. This project is part of a post-doctoral research focused on intergenerational proposal being developed in non-formal education environments. Thus, the art workshops have been prepared in order to enable integrators between generations with persons of the same family. The research was developed through a qualitative study conducted by the following methodological approach: a self-reflexive spiral of Carr and Kemmis (1988); the concept of “experience” of Jorge Larrosa (2002); Connelly the narrative analysis and Clandinin (2000) and document analysis from the evidential paradigm of Carlo Ginzburg (1989). Thus, this initiative was based on the search for answers arising from the participation of families in Art education activities, which working and creating together through emotional, intellectual and cognitive areas, experienced new possibilities for positive affective approaches relating to the creation of authorship shared.
