Article Highlights This work has demonstrated the efficacy of an interval type-2 FLC adjusted PI in regulating wind turbine rotor speed. The suggested control combined the rapid performance of the PI approach and intelligent control adaptive characteristics. The performance of optimum torque and output power is better with fuzzy type-2 than its type-1 and conventional control.
