Malaria that also causes a dangereus infectious disease for tourist in endemik areas is still an important health problem throughout the world. Especially P. falciparum malaria is an urgent disease because its fetal complicatious can develop rapidly. Because of this reason therapy should not be delayed and probability of drug resistance should not be overlooked during therapy. Chloroquin resistance in P. falciparum malaria that is a common problem in many malaria regions of the world might cause serious problem in therpy. In this paper a case of P. falciparum malaria resistant to chloroquine that had worked in Nigeria fora long time and was 39 age old is presented and the complications and problems in therapy are discussed.
