Assessment of the overall effectiveness of the transport process

Abstract

Achieving sustainable road transport requires the existence of methods for assessing its effectiveness, ie for assessing the overall efficiency of the transport process, road transport vehicles, vehicles and drivers. Transport companies and fleet companies for their own needs aim to increase the effectiveness of the resources they have and increase the quality of transport services in order to achieve a competitive position on the market. The achievement of the world class level in assessing the overall efficiency of the transport process is the goal of the state, the owner of the fleet, as well as the educational, professional and scientific community. The paper presents the importance of researching and managing the efficiency of the transport process, a literature review is presented, and a method for calculating the OVE Human indicators is presented, which is used as a tool for assessing the overall efficiency of the transport process, which can be corrected in the local environment. It was pointed out to the problems that were observed in the application of similar indicators and final conclusions were given.
