Análise-Diagnóstico de Sistemas Agrários: uma interpretação baseada na Teoria da Complexidade e no Realismo Crítico.

Abstract

The “Analysis-Diagnosis of Agrarian Systems” (ADSA) is a method of study of the agriculture conceived for the establishment of local development strategies based on the farming sector. However, the scientific rigor of the ADSA is still controversial, because its procedures are very different from the ones of the usual research methods. In this article is made an interpretation of the ADSA as a method of analysis of situations of local development based on the Theory of the Complexity and on the Critical Realism. It is concluded that such approach can provide more solid beddings to the methodological principles on which the procedures of the ADSA are based, as well as bringing important contributions to the improvement of the ADSA efficiency in the development promotion.
