Viabilidade da utilização de DNA dental na identificação humana em corpos carbonizados

Abstract

The Forensic Dentistry have major role in regard to human identification. Especially in cases involving charred bodies, where there are few viable sources for the identification, DNA obtained from dental elements, have been used to determine their identities. In this work we carried out a literature review about the use of dental DNA for human identification in charred bodies, thus demonstrating its viability.
