Fading Types in Wireless Communications Systems
Abstract
In this paper fading models areconsidered. In particular we divide the models intothree classes by separating the received signal in threescale of spatial variation such as fast fading, slow fading(shadowing) and path loss. Moreover, several models forsmall scale fading are considered such as Rayleigh,Ricean, Nakagami and Weibull distributions. Slowfading is also investigated as well as serial and site-tositecorrelations are compared.
