Restoration of the church de la Sangre in Llíria (Valencia).
Abstract
This text presents the restoration of a single storey church with a chapel between buttresses, with a double hipped roof and a coffered ceiling supported by arches. The author has a look at this typology which is so abundant in the Levant of the Spanish mainland. The restoration carried out afterwards was focused on the recuperation of the valuable original polychrome coffer, and this process is described in detail.
