This essay presents an extract of a research concerning the relation between nature and politics, emphasizing the processes of naturalization threatening human life, as they are discussed in contemporary political philosophy. In this work we will be focusing on Arendt’s ideas of totalitarianism and total dominion. We begin by establishing totalitarianism as a narrational category. Then we present the novelty in the totalitarian way of government, as well as its grounds in the pathway from the Jewish question to the radical evil. Changes relating to the field of power are presented in the light of Arendt’s typifying elements of totalitarianism: massification, propaganda, movement-organization, loneliness and concentration camps.
