In this article we rehearsed a first reflection on the knowledge and agroecological farming practices of residents of the Upper Juruá Extractive Reserve (in the far western state of Acre). The plantations, as they are locally called these experiments are discussed as a creative experience for the establishment of territories of subjectivity in which differentiation processes are set to face major ongoing processes mainly related to increased agricultural activity, and drain lines are drawn reinforcing another way of producing subjectivities and knowledge, as well as his own "Book". We explore the hypothesis that the plantings should therefore be respected within the regime of local knowledge and, as part of this system are a solid alternative to deforestation in the region.
