The article reviews the scientific production published by Pensamiento, Palabra y Obra, the Arts magazine of the National Pedagogical University, throughout its 10 years of existence. The summaries of the articles organized in five thematic lines were analyzed: Reflections on the Relationships between Ethics and Aesthetics, Notes on Creation, Artistic Education, Cultural Management and Policies, and Debates on Art and Society, given that we were interested - in a mirror-like manner in order to be able to look at ourselves - inquiring into the dialogues established between the three Bachelor's degrees of the Faculty and between the Faculty and the academic world abroad and in the country, finding some findings related to the role that art education is playing in society, about the being and the duty to be in the formation of art teachers and their significance for the nation, the construction of subjectivities and the relations that are established between teacher-artist, artist-cultural manager and the artist-activist in the framework of the triad of communication-politics-art.
