Benedetto Croce and Italian Literature

Abstract

This article analyzes the attitude of Benedetto Croce to the Italian literature of his time. The specifics of this attitude are determined by the main features of the literary criticism of the Italian philosopher. The main result of the article is the analysis of the deep subjectivism of this method.
