ANALYSIS OF THE IMPACT OF THE PRIORITY SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AREA ON THE RUSSIAN FAR EAST ECONOMY

Abstract

A new model of economic development is being introduced in the Russian Far East, it is based on intensification of economic activity of Priority Social and Economic Development Area. The functioning of these territories is connected with high hopes for restoring not only economic, but also social, demographic and environmental situation in the region. This article presents the results of the study of these problems and possible ways to resolve them. In addition, the author analyzes results of PSEDA’s activities and gives an assessment of their impact on the economy of the Russian Far East.
