Pressure injury have emerged as a significant public health concern in societies with increasing elderly populations.Electrostimulation stands out as a non-invasive and proactive microenvironmental intervention for both the prevention and treatment of pressure injury, representing a forefront strategy in combating these injuries.By inducing muscle contractions and redistributing localized stress, electrical stimulation enhances blood flow and microcirculation in surrounding skin and tissues, and modulates cellular activities. This paper provides an overview of electrostimulation concepts and products aimed at preventing and treating pressure injury, delving into the underlying mechanisms and their clinical implications in managing these injuries.
