La gestion de l’incertitude dans l’itinérance récréative : le corps créatif à l’œuvre

Abstract

Recreational wayfaring, as a topic of geography, makes it possible to study the ways of managing uncertainty from the environment. The results of a qualitative study, including the techniques of direct practice and experience, show that body can act as a means of environmental knowledge and decision-making. A bodily creativity is then deployed. It invites geography to study sensitiveness with a new look that goes beyond the affective dimension, and to better understand the geographical and sociocultural challenges of recreational practices related to habitation and transmodernity respectively.
