Electric charge relaxation in polyethylene with mineral inclusions of diatomite

Abstract

The paper discusses methods for increasing stability of polyethylene’s electret state by adding diatomite particles to its composition. The results of studying the IR spectra, the studied materials’ temporal and temperature stability are presented. Mechanisms for improving the stability of the composite polyethylene’s electret state are discussed.
