LEGAL REPRESENTATION OF MINORS (INTERDISCIPLINARY ASPECT)

Abstract

The paper deals with legal representation of minors inthe interdisciplinary aspect. The author analyzes therules of civillaw, family law, and civil procedure lawconcerning the subject, as well asthe basic scientific approachesto understanding thenature ofrepresentation as alegal institution. The author departs fromthe traditional understanding, as a type ofcivil andjudicial representation. It is concludedthat it is necessaryto allocatea speciallegal status of «legal representative of a minor». Adefinition of this notion isprovided.
