Výskumy ruského slovakistu K.V. Lifanova na prelome 20.–21. storočia

The article deals with the results and conditions of linguists in the field of synchronic and diachronic linguistics at the MGU in Moscow in the end of the 20th century. The author amalyzes the texts that are focused on the research of the Slovak linguistic context dealing with the works by K. V. Lifanov, a Russian expert in Slovak studies, professor at the Moscow Lomonosov State University who published the following monographs: Морфология словацкого языка (Moskva 1999, 167 pp); Язык духовной литературысловацких католиков XVI – XVIII вв. и кодификация А. Бернолака (Moskva 2000, 118 pp.); Генезис словацкого литературного языка (München: 2001, 234 pp.); Языквосточнословацких публикаций в США (конец XIX – начало XX. вв. (München 2005, 110 pp.). The aim of the article is to highlight scholarly benefits of the research made by K. V. Lifanov who introduced a new view on Slovak linguistics context, particularly from the point of iew of the works of the 16th–18th, 19th, and 20th centuries and their diachronic linguistic conceptions.
