A EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL (EA) NUM TEMPO DE TRAVESSIAS: desafios da EA crítica frente ao ideário de políticas desenvolvimentistas em Itaguaí/RJ
Abstract
This study is the result of dialogues between two research groups (GEPEADS / UFRRJ and ERA / UERJ) for a doctoral thesis (PPGMA / UERJ) reflects on the challenges of EA criticism against the ideas of development policies in marked areas for urban-industrial expansion. The methodological approach is qualitative inspired by the assumptions of historical and dialectical materialism and Ecology policy, with case study in the municipality of Itaguaí / RJ. An analysis of the data was made under the light of EA criticism and environmental justice. It is noticed that the EA practice - grounded in developmental policies and conservative views of EA - are instruments of social maintenance.
