The effectiveness of the mental (visual) program in developing the self-efficacy and learning a number of the motor skills in gymnastics

The research aims at: - Developing a mental training program that helps in developing the level of mental perception of students in the gymnastics lesson. - Revealing the effect of the proposed program for visual mental visualization on the development of self-efficacy and mental visualization of students in the gymnastics lesson. - Revealing the effect of the proposed program for mental visualization in developing the level of skill performance (practical) for students in the gymnastics lesson. - revealing the preference of the experimental and control groups in the post test of self-efficacy, mental perception and a number of motor skills of students in a gymnastics lesson. The researchers used the experimental method for its relevance to the nature of the research. The research community was deliberately identified from the third school year students in the College of Basic Education - Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Mosul University for the academic year 2021-2022, and their number was (58) male and female students. The research sample consisted of ( 20 students with a percentage of (48,27%), and they were divided by lottery into two equal groups, an experimental group and a control group with (10) students per group, The researchers reached a number of conclusions: - The educational curriculum on mental and visual visualization has developed in self-efficacy, mental visualization and a number of basic gymnastics skills for students.
