Abstract

Highlights The composite cathode composition, preparation method, and chemical compatibility play critical roles in constructing triple-phase interfaces. Understanding the electrolyte degradation is critical for boosting the high-performance composite sulfur cathode. The volume change of sulfur challenges the mechanical stability of composite sulfur cathode.
