Glycated Hemoglobin in the Practice of Endocrinologist (Literature Review and Our Own Data)
Abstract
This article deals with one of the most important factors in the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus — glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c). There are given the factors that may affect its value. It is noted that in recent years the world has made a significant progress in standardizing HbA1c researches, and the work continues in terms of optimization the quality of HbA1c testing in the future.
