PINOCCHIO: Transeuropean Schools Network for ODL Promotion. The project aims to allow secondary schools students to actively participate in European co-operation by creating a network of schools to foster a virtual mobility programme. The objectives are to develop the European dimension in education of secondary school students, and to train teachers via a multi-media teacher guide in the use of ODL. The proposed outcomes are teachers and students guides on ODL and multimedia products available for dissemination: handbooks, CD-Rom and web-pages on the EU. This paper discusses the advantages and disadvantages of implementing ODL tecniques and WWW resources in Secondary. Students' attitudes to the Pinocchio Project and their evaluation are assessed.
