Particularités lexico-grammaticales dialectales roumaines dans les écrits paysans rédigés sur le front de la Grande Guerre

Abstract

Romanian Dialectal Lexical-grammatical Particularities in the Peasant Writings from the Great War Front This article identifies dialectal particularities from the texts written by known and unknown authors during the First World War, during their presence at the front or during their cantonment in the army barracks. All these language aspects were identified in a corpus of olograph texts, gathered in the collection Scrieri ţărăneşti (Peasant Writings), which constitutes the investigative corpus. Their analysis gives an overview of the state of the Romanian language more than a hundred years ago, while at the same time relating it to the present state, in order to observe the evolution or conservation of certain linguistic features.
