Abstract

In his Romanian-American narratives, including the novel Sabrina și alte suspiciuni, Dumitru Radu Popa uses a personal formula focusing the metatextual and palimpsestic approach on the Romanian postmodernism writing to which he additionally adds allusive strategies of covering truths within writing itself – a literary strategy specific to the Romanian literature under the totalitarian age now adapted to the post-communist Romanian reality.
