Abstract Heterogenous catalysis plays a crucial role in organic synthesis, and over the past years, it has undergone significant progress. Further, polymer-supported catalysts have been introduced successfully in various organic transformations. This review focuses on recent advances in synthesizing polymer-supported catalysts since 2020. Polymer-supported catalysts allow for easy separation and reuse after the reaction, making purification easy and enhancing overall efficiency. Their reuse aligns with green chemistry principles, and they reduce waste and environmental damage while saving money by making catalysts last longer and reducing the need to replace them more often. Ultimately, polymer-supported catalysts contribute to more sustainable chemical processes and cost savings in various applications within organic chemistry. Graphical abstract
