Abstract

Este artigo trata da educação da pessoa com deficiência inserida no contexto histórico da educação brasileira. Discute sobre os fatos políticos e debates sociais envolvendo os aspectos teórico-práticos da educação geral e da educação especial. Mostra os limites e imposições que os governos, ao longo da história, atribuíram ao desenvolvimento do cenário educacional da pessoa com deficiência.Abstract This article is about the person's education with deficiency inserted in the historical context of the Brazilian education. It discusses on the political facts and social debates involving the theoretical-practical aspects of the general education and of the special education. It shows the limits and impositions that the governments, along the history, attributed to the development of the person's educational scenery with deficiency.
