The “dual carbon” goals have set forth demands for data centers to be efficient, reliable, and have low carbon emissions. Consequently, a full DC power supply system, incorporating renewable energy sources and large-scale energy storage, was constructed and comprehensively evaluated. Firstly, the characteristics and requirements of each link of “source-network-load-storage” in the power supply system were analyzed. Taking account of system efficiency, availability, economy, and environmental friendliness, an evaluation indicator system was established. Subsequently, a DCES (data center energy system) architecture evaluation tool was developed using the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method. Finally, through DCES, a comparative evaluation was performed between the full DC power supply system and the conventional AC power supply system. The results indicate that although the proposed full DC power supply system may have slightly inferior economic performance, its overall evaluation indicators are superior, making it a viable option for the future new power supply system in data centers.
