Extreme Programming or XP (Extreme Programming) belongs to the family of agile methodologies. XP proposes four essential practices; Limited or small deliveries, 40 hour work week, Customer on site, Pair programming. This article describes the application of XP, in the construction of a Software for the capture and tabulation of surveys for the Self-evaluation process of the Academic Programs of the Francisco de Paula Santander de Ocaña University, to guide the development of the application each one of the stages proposed by XP, and within them it is described how the work team applied the proposed concepts and put them into practice, with the aim of building a Software through frequent deliveries, functionally complete, tested, and with documentation necessary. Proving in this way that not all phases provided by traditional life cycles are adapted to needs, complexity and magnitude of different software development projects.
