Research in the field of development of the new generation of metalworking machines and processes

Abstract

This work contains a review of research in the field of development of a new generation of metalworking machines for the manufacture of components up to just a few millimeters made with high accuracy from various materials. The paper shows several new, recently developed micromachines with the ability to manufacture a wide range of products. The second part of the work demonstrates part of the research in this area, carried out at the Faculty of Engineering at the Department of Production Processes in Mechanical Engineering.
