PROGRAM OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE LEADERSHIP POTENTIAL OF UNIVERSITIES OF UKRAINE: FROM THE IDEA TO THE REALIZATION

Abstract

The article substantiates the relevance of the development of the leadership potential of Ukrainian universities in the conditions of integration into the European Higher Education Area. The first results of the project of the British Council in Ukraine "The Leadership Development Program of Ukrainian Universities" and the results of the TEMPUS Program Project "Education for Leadership, Intelligence and Talent Encouraging" are presented. The article substantiates the relevance, describes the fundamentals of contents and principles of the Program design, and presents the results of the implementation of the first stage and the process of designing the second stage of the Program. Prospects for further development of the Program in Ukraine are outlined.
