« Un sentiment de plénitude »
Abstract
The riot experience is the result of a personal decision to put oneself in danger, which cannot be reduced to its “causes”. An ethnography of this bodily commitment questions it as the founding experience of an identity “de-assignment.“ As collective experience, it is of the order of a discursive and situated performance that we must read “as a text” in order to identify the emotions and subjective political constructions that are played out and shared. Construction of a common in situation, it is a political experience of the body. The materials of multisituated investigations spread over fifteen years are examined through the sieve of five operators: the relationship to fear, the collective reconfiguration of bodies, the unveiling of dominations in the convocation of the State, the prescription by performance and aesthetics.
