PRACTICALITY OF THE SOCIAL EDUCATOR: A LOOK ETHNOGRAPHIC IN A FLOOR OF SUPPORT TO THE TREATMENT FOR DRUG DEPENDENTS
Abstract
This field research deal with some theorical and practical points about a reconceptualization of Social Education. This research shows the field work perfomed in a residential-home for drug addiction treatment (P.A.T.) during 15 months. We expressed the necessity to understand the problems in the socialeducational daily work of Social Educator from an ethnographic method. With this aim we investigate the work in a P.A.T. discovering significant results about two variables: gender and work environment. The conclusions and thoughts obtained show the daily effects in the Social Educator and are an essential support for both the social and educative research and the constant theoretical and practical formulation.
