Method of analytical definition of anti-blast valves with membrane for overpressure regulation
Abstract
The paper gives an original method of analytical definition of anti-blast waives with membrane for the protection against pressure penetration due to nuclear explosion direct ABWs (air-blast waves). The analytical expression of valves closing time is defined depending on operational and geometrical valve parameters. Mathematical statistics is applied to describe an original method for determining the analytical expression of resistance coefficients in similarly-designed valves, based on experimentally obtained data for valve resistance coefficients and depending on characteristic valve parameters (diameter and air-flow). The model adequacy has been checked and optimal valve characteristics have been chosen.
