Acknowledgment of Korean Products Origin in Order to Strengthen Its Nation Brand

Abstract

Samsung and Lg electronic products are recognized around the world due to their high quality. However, in many countries, particularly in Latin America, there is a misconception related to the origin of these trademarks. In order to confirm this, a marketing research took place in Mexico, Chile and Argentina. Following the confirmation of the abovementioned hypothesis, it is compulsive to design strategies in order to promote the country image of South Korea, taking advantage of the outstanding reputation of its businesses worldwide.
