A rare entity of reactive arthritis‐immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome in an immunocompromised patient

Abstract

Abstract There is increasing association of reactive arthritis (ReA) with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). ReA‐immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (IRIS) on the contrary is such a rare occurrence that it has only been documented twice. This is the index documented case of ReA‐IRIS in sub‐Saharan Africa.
