Phase and group velocities of waves in medium of Quark-gluon plasma
Abstract
Wave processes propagating in a medium of collisional and viscous QGP (quark-gluon plasma) are considered. To study various properties of the medium, the longitudinal and transverse dielectric functions of the quark-gluon plasma are used. Studies of perturbations of these functions help to obtain dispersion relations for wave propagation in media. Through further analysis, the phase and group velocities were calculated. The resulting graphs for phase and group velocity show the dissipative properties of the medium. They demonstrate the propagation speed of the wave phase and wave packet of environmental disturbances. The article provides an analysis of the obtained results by discussing the possible the behavior of waves in different models of media. The conclusion indicates the major achievements of this article.
