We present a clinical case of a snake bite in 8-year-old girl, who was hospitalized at the intensive care unit of Ternopil Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital. The peculiarity of this case report is the domination of pain syndrome and a significant lymphostasis in the bite site, the absence of systemic lesion. It is necessary to raise public awareness about possible snake bites. Bites in children are particularly dangerous due to the fact that children spend a lot of time barefoot in the open area.
