Contribuciones de Eliseo Verón a los estudios sobre televisión en Brasil

Abstract

Considering the trajectory of Eliseo Verón and its influence on studies of media discourse, this paper aims to observe their impacts in the field of television studies in Brazil. This research is based on the papers published in the National Intercom Congress. By analyzing the articles presented in thematic group called “TV Journalism” and “TV & Video” in the last six years it is possible to verify the importance of the author’s works as a reference. It was observed the author’s concepts, approaches and bibliography used in these papers. As a context for the analysis, we present an overview of the developed theory, while focusing on the basic concepts that can be used as a methodology for the analysis of television products.
