Schwanoma maligno intratorácico

Abstract

RESUMO: Os autores relatam um caso clínico de Schwanoma maligno intratorácico num doente com exposição·prévia a sílica, acompanhado de derrame pleural hemático.Trata-se de um tumor raro sobretudo quando acompanhado de derrame pleural.Estudos realizados “in vitro” demonstraram uma possivcl relação entre Schwanoma maligno e silísca.Este caso clínico, poderá eventualmente confirmar “in vivo”. tal conto estudos “in vitro” demonstraram, o possívl efeito da silica sobre o desenvolvimento de alguns shwanomas maloignos.REV PORT PNEUMOL 1998; IV (3): 315-318 ABSTRACT: The authors present a case report of an intrathoracic malingnant schwanoma in a patient with a Previous silica exposure, with pleural effusion.It’s a rare tumour specially when it happen with pleural effusion.There are some studies, that shows a probably relationship between malignant schwanoma and silica.
