«Degeneración» y «prosaísmo» de la escritura poética de finales del siglo xvii y principios del xviii: análisis de dos nociones heredadas

Abstract

We analyse, in the present study, the stylistic demonstrations of the second half of the seventeenth century and beginning of the eighteenth century which imparted to the poetry its prosaic flavour and awakened, as regards the critics, a sensation of deterioration. Moreover, our analysis underlines the notion that the diffusion of the genus humile corresponds to the search of a new poetics, a poetics based on clarity, naturalness and sincerity which prefigured the neoclassical poetry.
