Non-Hodgkin lymphoma comprises a heterogeneous group of lymphoid neoplasms. The four main NHL subtypes of childhood exhibit significant differences în terms of their clinical features, which may be crucial for detrmining therapeutic strategies. The most important disparities are significantly different cell cycle kinetics and different dispositions for invasion of the bone marrow and central nervous system. A major target was to identify correctly the negative prognostic factors which confer a much less favorable prognosis, as well as the survival depending on the number of these prognostic factors
