ABSTRACT system. Tuberculosis Tuberculous (TB) can involve the entire gastrointestinal tract (Gl) including the peritoneum and the Pancreatobiliaj prevalence of TB. It infection of the peritoneum is rare in developed countries but significant in countries with a hidin pulmonary and is commonly seen in individuals less than 40 years of age with female predominance. It can be fou which was diagnosed extra pulmonary sites. The case reported here is of tuberculous peritonitis in a 30 years old fema respond to ATT. Laparotomy incidentally during caesarean section & was kept on antitubercular treatment (ATT). She did ngovaries. ATT alone may be an was effective performed because of increasing pain, abdominal distension & multicystic lesions j methods. indications treatment in pelvic-peritoneal tuberculosis, obviating the need for invasivof ATT. for Surgery mayinclude persistence of pelvic mass and recurrence of pain or bleeding after 9 month KEY WORDS:Antitubercular Treatment ATT, Tuberculous Peritonitis, CA 125, Granulomas, PCR Testing.
