O perfil epidemiológico da aids em adolescentes de 15 á 19 anos no estado do mato grosso do sul entre 2002-2012
Abstract
The population in general has started his sex life early in adolescence, where this period is marked by various biological, psychological and social changes due to this fact can lead to problems such as DSTs, especially AIDS, which is a disease characterized by a severe dysfunction of the immune system of the individual infected with HIV. This study evaluated the epidemiology of AIDS in adolescents 15 to 19 years, between 2002-2012 by consulting the database available in DATASUS. According to data obtained AIDS was most prevalent in women, and the main route of exposure to the virus was sexual, involving mostly the lower education. Thus we conclude that there must be a greater focus on women and less educated, aimed not only at preventing, treating more too.
